Ms. Browning advises large and small real estate developers, property owners, renewable energy companies, and other business entities on land use, planning and zoning regulations and environmental issues. Kerin advises on the development potential of properties to increase development opportunities, conducts land use due diligence and represents clients in all types of land use approvals, including variances, zone changes, special permits and comprehensive plan amendments.
Kerin also advises clients on real estate closings, easements, title issues, purchase and sale agreements, financing, leasing, state and local tax incentives, and condominium law.
Kerin has overseen permitting for major development projects, guiding applicants and their development teams through the application process, zoning variances, special permits, licensing and appeals. This knowledge she brings to bear in evaluating development proposals with clients early in the process. By doing so she continues to shape successful property development on behalf of clients in Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut.
Kerin has substantial hearing experience, appearing before state and local land use decision makers and other regulatory agencies on behalf of private developers, and corporate clients.
Prior to joining Moses Ryan Ltd., Ms. Browning practiced civil litigation and environmental law, advising clients through state and federal court actions.
