Tom Moses has been involved in almost every major real estate project in the city of Providence and has provided legal services to clients in every city and town in Rhode Island. He has also been instrumental in significant financing transactions and providing business law solutions.
From acquisition and sale to planning, zoning, and permitting, he tackles commercial real estate from every legal angle to get the job done. Tom is known for his exceptional study of the law as well as the novel solutions he formulates for his clients. He particularly enjoys working with clients from “day one” right through to the successful completion of the project.
Tom founded the firm in 1991 with the vision of producing a better legal product at a more reasonable price than the large firms. He recognized that service and attention are pivotal to value for clients. Tom’s dedication to his clients is one of the cornerstones of his success.
Tom’s interest in planning and development began in government service where he worked for 12 years in a variety of executive capacities for government authorities. These include Providence’s Department of Planning and Development, Public Buildings Authority, and Economic Development Corporation as well as the Rhode Island Department of Economic Development and Port Authority.
He has been general counsel to the Rhode Island Industrial-Recreational Building Authority for over 20 years.
Tom is a graduate of George Washington University and the New England School of Law. He holds an environmental law certificate from the University of Denver College of Law.
